Saludos Companeros! The rush is definitely on. Today I received confirmations of another 25 people attending the reunion. This brings us to a total of 146 (114 adults and 32 children). A few reminders: Make sure you have passports for everybody in your party. You don't want to have to pay extra fees for last minute passport applications. If you haven't done so, immediately contact the Temple Department to get your tickets to the Temple Dedication Session on March 21 at 10:30 AM. It looks like the two tours (Friday the 19th from 1-4 PM around Madrid and Saturday the 20th from 8:30 AM to 4 PM to Segovia, Avila and El Escorial ) are very popular and reservations have been going fast. It is very important that you contact Salt Lake Travel if you want to participate. This is a holiday weekend and drivers are hard to get. It looks like we will certainly fill two bus loads, and we might need a third. I'm still working on the caterer for our dinner on Friday night. Anyone care to suggest favorite menu items? Brian Blossil wants to make sure they have Trinaranjus, horchata and cheap gaseosa. The reception on Saturday night is taking shape. We have combined efforts with the Spain Madrid Mission to host an event for all former mission presidents and any attending missionaries, plus any Spanish members that would like to join us. Also, do we have any skilled photographers would like to be responsible for taking some still photos at the dinner and the reception and then a group picture at the Temple dedication? Please get back to me. I would like to post the pictures on the website for all of our companions to enjoy after we get back. I will be sending out some final estimates on cost per person for the dinner, reception and incidentals shortly. Finally, please check with those former missionaries that are close to you to make sure they know it is not too late to join us. When they learn all that we will be doing, I am sure it will convice some to get off the fence. Please send email with your questions and comments Hasta pronto! John Muir
